The news is out. BA Euroflyer has set its compass towards a new destination — the sunny Fuerteventura, starting from 2nd November 2023. It's another notch on Euroflyer's belt, but what does this mean for you?
In this article, we take a closer look at this rising star in the skies and how you can use Reward Flight Finder to get your hands on Avios reward seats on the airline.
Understanding Euroflyer
Launched on 29th March 2022, Euroflyer is British Airways' new addition to the aviation scene, connecting Europe from its base at London Gatwick. Operating exclusively from there, this airline might seem young, but it has inherited the charm and sophistication of its parent company.
So, what's with the name, you might wonder? Well, Euroflyer has a sibling - BA Cityflyer. While Cityflyer serves the business community from London City Airport, Euroflyer carries the BA flag to sunnier leisure spots from Gatwick.
The airline maintains the high standard of service BA is renowned for. Just imagine relaxing in your seat, ample legroom, free water and snacks at your disposal, and the option to pick your preferred spot 24 hours before departure. And that's not all - a generous baggage allowance and access to the frequent flyer benefits, such as lounge access, are part of the package.
A Look at Euroflyer's Travel Classes
BA Euroflyer offers two service classes: Euro Traveller (Economy) and Club Europe (Business Class).
In Euro Traveller, you get a lot more than an attractive ticket price. Beyond the expansive network of easily accessible airports, you're treated to the Speedbird café menu with options to pre-purchase or buy limited items on board. Complimentary refreshments - a bottle of water and a snack, Wi-Fi access on most aircraft, and digital magazines are just a few perks. You'll sit comfortably in a contoured leather seat with a fully moveable headrest and in-seat power. Plus, your personal protection pack will include an antibacterial wipe and hand sanitiser gel. Feel like a conscious traveller? Offset your carbon emissions right from your mobile device.
If you choose Club Europe, you're opting for an elevated flying experience. Enjoy access to comfortable departure lounges, dedicated check-in desks, and priority boarding. Aboard the aircraft, savour the extra personal space for work or relaxation. Delight in complimentary food and drinks, and benefit from a larger baggage allowance (32kg) than in Euro Traveller. Not to forget, earn more Avios and Tier Points, adding even more value to your journey.

What do Travellers Think of It?
What's the word on the travel street about Euroflyer? Despite being launched as a competitive alternative to low-cost airlines like Ryanair, Euroflyer has won the hearts of many Avios travellers. Turning Left for Less vouches for the airline, saying, “So far, I’m loving the new Euroflyer crews who have all been so friendly and helpful. Service has been better than most of my Heathrow flights and the food has been comparable.”
Adding to the praise, The Flight Detective calls it “a decent product for a short hop. The complimentary food for the breakfast service is better than what is offered for the remainder of the day.”
Tom Boon also lauds the airline, saying “Overall the flight was mostly pleasant and problem-free. I'm consistently blown away by the friendliness and professionalism of British Airways staff and I was very impressed with the seat provided by British Airways. I had no problem with legroom. In fact, I had room to spare. I didn't notice any discomfort with the seat at all.”
